How Giant Beast Island is structured
You spawn as a young dinosaur on a hostile Jurassic island. The loop is biological, not a quest log: eat, drink, rest, hunt, and fill an XP bar until you evolve. Other players share the same map as an MMO, so a watering hole is never private.

The hunt loop
Combat is mouse-driven. Movement is WASD. Rest is a dedicated toggle, not a menu. Learn these before you sprint into another pack.
WASD
Walk the island. Terrain is open wilderness, not a corridor shooter.
Shift
Sprint with Shift plus WASD. Sprinting drains stamina.
LMB
Primary attack. Reliable, species-agnostic starter bite or strike.
RMB
Special attack. Changes with the dinosaur you currently inhabit.
H
Rest mode. Recovers stamina faster. You are easier to ambush while down.
